Women's Basketball: Tickets On Sale Monday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (October 6, 2006) – West Virginia University ticket manager Debby Travinski today announced that season tickets for the 2006-07 women’s basketball season will go on sale Monday, October 9.
The price of a season ticket is $60 for the general public and $48 for faculty and staff. Ticket order forms will be mailed next week to previous season ticket holders and faculty and staff. Tickets can be purchased at the Mountaineer ticket office in the WVU Coliseum or by calling 1 800-WVU-GAME.
The Mountaineers play host to 14 opponents in the Coliseum this season including Connecticut, Villanova, St. John’s, USF, Houston and St. Francis, Pa.
Last season, WVU advanced to the BIG EAST championship game for the first time in school history. All five starters that guided WVU through the conference tournament return this season.
Preseason practice for the upcoming season begins Friday, October 13.
