MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University rowing team travels north for its final regatta of the fall season as it is set to compete at the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia, Pa., on Saturday, Oct. 28.
The Mountaineers will look for yet another quality performance this week as they have put together a memorable fall thus far. The team’s main boat, the varsity eight, has finished first at the Head of the Ohio, seventh at the Head of the Genesee and seventh at the Head of the Charles.
The Head of the Schuylkill is recognized as the world's largest one-day regatta as it features 10 hours of non-stop racing.
