MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The West Virginia University coaching staff has selected its award winners for outstanding play in the 41-17 BIG EAST win over Syracuse.
Offensive Champion - PATRICK WHITE; Defensive Champion - ERIC WICKS; Special Teams Champion - PAT MCAFEE; Offensive Scout Champion - DAVID ROBINSON; Defensive Scout Champion - JOSH SIMS; Special Teams Scout Champion - TOMMY SPURLOCK; Hammer Award - none.
The 6-0 Mountaineers visit Connecticut this Friday for an 8 p.m. game to be televised by ESPN.
