MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia men’s soccer team got a late addition to its spring scrimmage schedule on Monday evening, as it added perennial powerhouse Maryland to play on Wednesday, April 20, at 8:30 p.m. in College Park, Md.
“In the last five years there haven’t been any teams more consistent than Indiana and Maryland, and getting a chance to play a program like Maryland will allow us to see where we currently stand,” said head coach Mike Seabolt.
The Terps have made three consecutive Final Four appearances in the NCAA College Cup. Last season Maryland finished with a 17-6-2 record and ranked No. 3 in the NSCAA/Adidas poll.
