Women's Soccer: First Round Game Time Set

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The game time for West Virginia’s first round NCAA tournament match with Hofstra has been set for 7:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 11 at Penn State’s Jeffrey Field.
The match will be the second all-time meeting between the Mountaineers (11-5-3) and the Pride (14-3-3). West Virginia defeated Hofstra 2-1 in double overtime in 2001.
Regional host No. 1 Penn State (19-0-1) takes on Bucknell (11-8-1) at 5 p.m. to open the day’s competition.
The winners of the two first round matches advance to the tournament’s second round match at 1 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 13.
Also announced today were the final regular season rankings for the 2005 season. West Virginia is ranked No. 21 by the NSCAA, No. 22 by Soccer America and No. 20 by SoccerBuzz.
