MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Once again this year, the West Virginia University Spirit Program has an entrant in the Athlon Sports Sideline Spirit Contest in Clarksburg’s Lara Benninger. She has already advanced into the second round of competition and is competing with cheerleaders from other school’s for a $1,000 prize awarded to that school’s spirit program.
Last year, West Virginia’s Andrea Bianchi captured the most votes to win the competition.
