MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The West Virginia University coaching staff has selected its award winners for outstanding play in the 46-44 triple overtime win over Louisville.
Offensive Champion - STEVE SLATON; Defensive Champion - MIKE LORELLO; Special Teams Champion - TIM LINDSEY; Offensive Scout Champion - MATT AMERI; Defensive Scout Champion - QUINTON ANDREWS; Special Teams Scout Champion - SCOTT MACERELLI; Hammer Award - AARON MECKSTROTH.
The No. 20 Mountaineers (6-1) visit South Florida (3-3) for a 7:00 p.m. game Saturday; that game will be televised by ESPNU.
