Women's Basketball: Big East TV Coverage

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women’s basketball program will have four games televised as part of the Big East Conference’s expanding women’s basketball television coverage, the conference announced Friday.
The Mountaineers’ game against Villanova at the WVU Coliseum on Feb. 28 will be televised by CSTV as part of its Tuesday “Big East National Game of the Week.” West Virginia’s home game against Rutgers on Feb. 10 will be televised nationally by ESPNU, and the Mountaineers will have a pair of games televised as part of the Big East network television package; West Virginia’s game at home against Marquette on Jan. 29 and a road game at St. John’s on Jan. 29 will be televised by the conference.
WVU games to be televised by the Mountaineer Sports Network will be announced at a later date.
In all, the Big East will have 72 regular season women’s games televised on either national or regional television this year. Last year the conference had 58 games televised and just 50 two years ago.
