Women's Basketball: Clyburn Leaves Team

Morgantown, W.Va. - West Virginia University women's basketball coach Mike Carey today announced that junior guard Joei Clyburn has left the team due to personal reasons.

Clyburn, a 6-1 native of Detroit, Mich., appeared in nine games this season averaging 2.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 9.0 minutes per contest.

West Virginia returns to the hardwood Saturday, Jan. 15, at 2 p.m., in the WVU Coliseum when it takes on Seton Hall. The game will be televised via the Mountaineer Sports Network and broadcast on WVFX Fox 46 in Clarksburg and Charter Communications in Charleston.
