Volleyball: WVU Travels to Penn State Classic

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team is set for three matches on Friday, Sept. 17, and Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Penn State Classic in State College, Pa.
The Mountaineers (3-4) begin play on Friday evening with a 5:00 p.m. match with Yale. WVU begins a doubleheader on Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. match against Maryland-Baltimore County before taking on No. 5 Penn State in the nightcap at 7:30 p.m.
West Virginia is coming off a 3-1 weekend at the WVU Invitational on Sept. 11-12. The Mountaineers defeated High Point (3-1), Delaware State (3-0) and Robert Morris (3-0) while falling to Bowling Green (3-1).
West Virginia’s three matches this weekend mark the first of 13 straight it plays on the road.
