Football: UConn Game to Air on ESPN

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The BIG EAST Conference announced today that West Virginia’s football game at Connecticut on Wednesday, October 13 has been confirmed for a 7:30 p.m. start on ESPN.

It will be the first meeting ever for the two schools in football and the BIG EAST series against UConn starts this season at Rentschler Field.

West Virginia’s season opener will be on September 4 against East Carolina at Milan Puskar Stadium. Season tickets are on sale now at the Mountaineer Ticket Office and can be purchased by calling 1-800-WVU GAME.
