Women's Track: WVU Set for Raleigh Relays

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women's track team is set to compete as a unit for the first time this outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays on Mar. 26-27 in Raleigh, N.C.
Approximately 110 teams are expected to be on hand with over 3,000 athletes competing over the course of the weekend.
On Mar. 18-19, three Mountaineer competitors opened their 2004 outdoor campaigns at the Alabama Relays. Abbie Stechschulte, Nancy Regalbuto and Mary Greene competed in the heptathlon and finished fourth, sixth and seventh respectively.
Junior Tara Struyk is the only Mountaineer making the trip to the west coast this weekend for the Stanford Invitational. The Edmonton, Alberta, native is set to make an appearance in the 10,000 meters on Friday evening.
Friday's events at the Raleigh Relays are scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m. with Saturday's competition beginning at 10:30 a.m.
