Volleyball: WVU Travels to Marshall

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University volleyball team travels to Huntington, W.Va., on Tuesday, Oct. 5, for a non-conference match with intrastate rival Marshall.
Tuesday’s contest marks West Virginia’s 11th consecutive road match. WVU faces St. Peter’s and St. John’s on Oct. 9-10 to complete their current 13 match road trip.
The Mountaineers (11-6) are coming off their first unbeaten week of the season after defeating Duquesne, Binghamton, Canisius and St. Francis by a combined game score of 12-0. West Virginia currently boasts 11 wins on the season and is in the midst of a seven match winning streak after winning a total of six matches in 2003.
Tuesday’s match against Marshall is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
