Women's Soccer: Weekly Rankings

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - After winning both of its matches last week, the West Virginia University women’s soccer team climbed two spots in each of the major polls.
The Mountaineers (13-3-0,7-2-0) are ranked highest by the NSCAA/adidas poll. The soccer coaches association tabbed WVU No.16 after it record two BIG EAST road wins over the weekend.
West Virginia is rated 17th by both Soccer America and SoccerBuzz.
Currently in second place in the BIG EAST, the Mountaineers have now been ranked in the nation’s Top 25 for 28 consecutive weeks.
WVU will look to continue its climb up the national charts with a non-conference match at Radford, on Friday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. The Mountaineers will return to Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium for their final regular season match on Sunday, Oct. 24, versus Georgetown.
