Women's Tennis: No. 60 Terps Drop WVU

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The West Virginia University women’s tennis team fell 7-0 to No.60 Maryland on Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Tennis Center in College Park, Md.
At No.1 singles, West Virginia’s Melissa Day lost to No. 88 Emily Marker, 6-3, 6-3.
With the loss, the Mountaineers are now 1-6 on the year and the Terrapins improve to 6-1.
The Mountaineers return to action on Sunday, March 2, when they travel to Lehigh. The match is set for 1 p.m.
