MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The BIG EAST Conference announced today that the West Virginia-Georgetown men's basketball game will now be played on March 3 at 7 p.m., at the WVU Coliseum. The game was originally scheduled to be played on March 5 at 7 p.m.
The move was made due to the postponement of league games for weather last Monday and the rescheduling of those games. West Virginia-Georgetown, originally not scheduled for television, will now be televised by ESPN as part of its "Big Monday" package.
The Mountaineers will play host to Seton Hall this Saturday at noon. Good seats still remain for the contest; stop by the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the WVU Coliseum or call 1-800-WVU GAME.
