JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A statement from West Virginia coach Rich Rodriguez:

“I told the media covering practice today that Travis Garvin had been sent home. However, since his family is already en route to Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl game, I do not want to penalize them as well. Therefore, Travis is suspended, but will remain in Jacksonville with the team.”

There will be two shows in May 2026, featuring the baseball and rowing head coaches at WVU.
