MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The WVU volleyball team was defeated by Robert Morris, 3-0 (30-21, 30-28, 30-27), Tuesday evening at the Sewall Center.
Kelly Mullins was a lone bright spot for the Mountaineers (5-15) as she posted her third straight double-double match with 16 kills and 12 digs.
Sophomore Julie Hockenson had 12 kills and four blocks for WVU while senior libero Kristi King paced her squad defensively with 17 digs.
Junior outside hitter Alison Zemanski hit .357 with 12 kills for West Virginia.
The Mountaineers return to action on Friday, Oct. 24, when they host BIG EAST foe Rutgers, at 7:30 p.m., at the WVU Coliseum.
