The West Virginia University gymnastics team (4-1) is ranked 24th in the nation in the latest GymInfo rankings based on average team score.

The team is also the sixth-rated team on vault, boasting an average score of 49.100. In its most recent meet, a dual competition victory over Eastern Michigan, the Mountaineers tallied a season-high 49.25 on vault. The score was a tenth shy from tying the school record.
Senior TeShawne Jackson and sophomore Kari Williams are individually ranked on vault as well. Jackson, a Summerville, S.C., native, is the fifth-ranked vaulter in the country while Williams, a Newark, Del., native is tied for 20th.
The Mountaineers return to action on Saturday, Feb. 8, when they travel to No. 15 Michigan for a 7 p.m. meet with the Wolverines.
