Zach Coonick joined Mountaineer athletics in June 2022 as a ticket assistant in support of the daily ticket operations for West Virginia University’s 18 intercollegiate sports. He was promoted to assistant director of ticket operations in October 2023.
Most recently, Coonick was an inside sales representative for Angi Leads. His recent work experience also includes a stint at PGA of America in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where he served as a merchandising operations assistant for the 2020 Ryder Cup. In addition, Coonick worked an internship for the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held in Orlando, Florida, in the spring of 2021.
Coonick earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management and business administration from St. John’s in May 2021 and is a native of Endwell, New York.
An avid golfer, Coonick resides in Morgantown.
