Tyler Porter joined Gold & Blue Enterprises, Inc. within West Virginia University Athletics as the events and engagement coordinator in September 2026.
Porter previously worked for the Wheeling Nailers as part of the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League (ECHL) as a game operations and activations assistant. With the Nailers, he helped with in-game entertainment and oversaw the interns working home games.
Prior to working with the Nailers, Porter served as donor relations coordinator for the Trinity Health System Foundation in Steubenville, Ohio. As coordinator, Porter developed initiatives to gain new donors and coordinated fundraising events.
Porter earned a B.S. in journalism and an M.S. in integrated marketing communications from West Virginia University.
