Philip Lynch joined the West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in August 2022 as a graphic designer for the Athletics Communications office. He has since been promoted to director of graphic design.
In this capacity, Lynch will coordinate the graphic design efforts for all athletics publications, while developing graphic and social media content on a daily basis for the communications and sports marketing departments.
Lynch came to West Virginia from Penn State, where he did graphic design work for the Nittany Lions’ men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, baseball and softball programs. His professional experience there also included work as the department’s digital signage coordinator and graphic designer.
Lynch graduated from Penn State in 2019 with an integrative arts degree, focusing in graphic design.
He resides in Morgantown.
