Lori Rice has been an administrative associate with the Mountaineer Football program since 1987. She handles administrative responsibilities relating to the activities of the head football coach and the associate director of athletics for football.
She oversees the head coach’s calendar, including speaking engagements, fundraising activities and media appointments. She handles his travel, daily schedule, expense reporting and correspondence with the Big 12 and the American Football Coaches’ Association. Rice also answers public and donation requests for the football program.
She assumed her current role after spending 10 years on the office managerial staff for the Zeni Drilling Company in Morgantown.
The Morgantown native and St. Francis High School graduate, has three children who are all graduates of WVU, Erin, Jennifer and Rodney, and six grandchildren.
