Lisa Thomas began working with the West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Mountaineer Athletic Club (MAC) in 1989.
As a development coordinator, Thomas is responsible for planning and coordinating special events with the MAC Donor Relations team. She manages and organizes special projects for the administrators and maintains the executive director’s calendar, scheduling and coordinating meetings on- and off-campus.
Thomas manages the MAC’s brick projects at the WVU Coliseum and Touchdown Terrace at Milan Puskar Stadium. She assists with the office’s stewardship efforts, including all sport-specific giving clubs’ benefits and events, and also works directly with the WVU Ticket Office on the MAC’s behalf. Additionally, Thomas oversees the day-to-day operations of the MAC, assists with the supervision of graduate and student assistants and trains new employees.
She has two daughters, Brandi and Breonna.
