Lisa Ammons is the business manager for WVU athletic communications, marketing and video and has been with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics since 1989.
In her role, she manages the finances and budgets for the three units and oversees their day-to-day business affairs. She also works with athletic catering and the Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG and is the department’s cellular liaison. Before coming to WVU, she worked for 21 years in hotel management.
Ammons and her husband, Gary, reside in Morgantown and have two daughters. Her oldest, Christie, was a four-year letterwinner for WVU women’s basketball and lives in Lake Wylie, South Carolina with her husband Todd. Kelley is married to former WVU football player John Conte and lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Lisa and Gary have four grandchildren – Grace, Owen, Anthony and Dominic.
