Joshua Pearson joined West Virginia University Athletics as the chief revenue officer for Gold & Blue Enterprises, Inc. in August 2026.
Pearson joins WVU after many years of experience in sales. Most recently, Pearson served as the director of sales in North America for Gainwell Engineering. In this role, he led strategic commercial and sales initiatives through engineering projects across markets.
He also served as the sales and business development manager for large accounts with Liberty Distributors, Inc. in Triadelphia, West Virginia, before moving on to Gainwell Engineering. Pearson's most extensive experience came from his time as the president and chief executive officer for Mountaineer Packaging, LLC. He served in this position for over 16 years, before it was acquired by Liberty Distributors in 2023.
Pearson earned a B.S. in finance, management and marketing from Fairmont State University and an Executive MBA in business administration and management from the University of Charleston.
