Brandon Cochran joined West Virginia University Athletics as an assistant director of marketing in November 2025.
Prior to joining WVU, Cochran served as an assistant director of marketing and promotions at Louisiana Tech University. In this role, he directed marketing operations and promotions, created game scripts and oversaw the scheduling and responsibilities of interns.
Before joining the marketing department, Cochran served as an assistant director of internal operations at LA Tech, helping coordinate staff for sporting events and leading game day setup for all sports on campus.
Cochran earned a B.S. in kinesiology from LA Tech and is working on an MBA with a concentration in marketing through Louisiana State University Shreveport.
