Bariyah Watts joined West Virginia University Athletics as student-athlete development coordinator in July 2025.
Most recently, Watts served as a graduate assistant with the WVU Chamber Elite Climbers program. In this position, she assisted in planning and executing events focused on professional development for student-athletes.
Prior to this role, Watts served as a McLendon Rotational Fellow within WVU Athletics. This position allowed her to work with different departments within WVU Athletics, such as marketing, student-athlete professional development and football.
Watts earned a B.S. in business administration from Stevenson University. She is currently pursuing an M.S. in business administration from West Virginia University.
