Austin Nice joined West Virginia University Athletics as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for Olympic sports in September 2026. He works primarily with volleyball and swimming and diving.
Nice previously worked as an assistant sports performance coach at the University of Cincinnati, working with women's lacrosse and swimming and diving. While with the Bearcats, he also assisted with the women's soccer program and developed lift sessions for his teams throughout the season and offseason.
Before joining UC, Nice worked as an Olympic sports strength and conditioning fellow at Pitt. In this role, he worked with various programs including, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, baseball and men's and women's track and field.
While earning his master's degree at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, Nice worked as a graduate assistant in the strength and conditioning department.
He earned a B.S. and M.S. in exercise science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
