Noah Smith joined the WVU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in 2016 and has been serving his current role as Assistant Athletics Director, Marketing since August 2023.

He serves as the direct sports marketing contact for football and men's basketball and is the department’s liaison to the Mountaineer Maniacs, among other responsibilities.

Smith previously served as Director of Athletics Marketing from 2022-23 and Assistant Director of Athletics Marketing from 2018-22. Prior to that, he was a student assistant in the WVU Athletics Marketing office from 2016-18.

The Parkersburg, West Virginia, native and Parkersburg South High alumnus graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport management from WVU in 2018. He also earned his master’s degree from West Virginia in 2021.

Smith resides in Morgantown with his wife, Alexis, and son, Parker.
