How to Request a Student Ticket
- Go to WVUGAME.com/students and click the “Sign In as Student” button.
- Sign In with your WVU credentials via Single Sign-On.
- Click on the “Get Student Tickets” button on the My Account page.
- Select the “Find Tickets” button for the game that is available.
- Select “Student” and then select “1” as the quantity. Click “Add to Cart”. *For Maniac Ultimate members only – Select “Maniac” and then select “1” as the quantity. Click “Add to Cart”.
- Review your ticket request and click the “Checkout” button.
- For first time requests, enter all account contact information fields. Tickets CANNOT be delivered without a valid phone number. Click the “Place Your Order” button.
- You will be directed to an order confirmation page after the transaction has been completed. As a reminder, this is request only confirmation for football and men's basketball. For Olympic sports, this is your offical order confirmation and your ticket will be placed in your account.
How to Return a Student Ticket
- Go to WVUGAME.com/students and click the "Sign In as Student" button.
- Sign In with your WVU credentials via Single Sign-On.
- Click the three-bar dropdown beside the WVU logo.
- Scroll down to "My Tickets" dropdown and click "Return".
- Click on the game you wish to return your ticket to.
- Click the check box next to the ticket you wish to return and click the "Next" button.
- Review your return and click the "Yes, Process Return" button.
- You will receive a confirmation once your ticket has been returned.
How to Download a Student Ticket to Your Mobile Wallet
- After your ticket is allocated, you will receive an email from wvugame@notify.wvu.edu titled "Your Mobile Tickets Have Arrived!".
- Go to WVUGAME.com/students and click the "Sign In as Student" button.
- IPhone users can add the ticket to their Apple Wallet by selecting the "Add to Apple Wallet" option. Android users can add the ticket to their Google Pay Wallet by selecting the "Add to Google Pay" option. Students with IPhones will be subject to Apple Account Binding. - A new screen will pop up that shows your digital ticket. Click on the "Add" button on the top right-hand corner of your screen.
- Open the Wallet app on your phone and you should see the digital ticket for the selected game.
- Click the '3 Dots' in the corner to review your ticket and other settings. There will be no barcode on your ticket.
- Review and turn on all of the settings to make for ease of use on game day.
- On game day, open the ticket in the Wallet app on your phone and present to event staff with matching Student ID for entrance at the student gate (East Gate).
Student Guest Tickets
Student guest tickets can be purchased for home football and men's basketball games in the Student
Sections IF student tickets remain following the request phase. Student guest tickets
are non-refundable.
If the game DOES NOT go into lottery:
If there are tickets available in the Student Sections, throughout the return phase,
students may purchase one (1) guest ticket. Students must first be awarded a ticket. Next, login and click on guest ticket in the drop down menu and purchase a guest ticket using a credit card.
If the game DOES GO into lottery:
If there are tickets available in the Student Sections during the return phase, students
may purchase one (1) guest ticket subject to availability. Students must first be awarded a ticket. Next, login and click on guest ticket in the drop down menu and purchase a guest ticket using a credit card.
Student guest ticket prices are the same as the general public ticket price for
each home game.
If a student experiences a Guest Ticket error – they should contact the Mountaineer
Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME to provide their name and information to start the
reconciliation process.
