Micro-Internships
A micro-internship is a 1 day - 1 week, paid or unpaid, professional assignment. These projects will enable WVU football student-athletes to explore career paths and build their networks as they prepare for life after football. Whether in West Virginia, the Bay Area or elsewhere, connecting our student-athletes with successful and influential alumni and friends of the University is a priority.
Throughout the summer of 2024, 10 of our student-athletes completed micro-internships with:
NASCAR – The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway
UGG – New York City Showroom
Howard Hanna of Morgantown, West Virginia
McDonald's – Bridgeport, West Virginia
