Chambers Elite Climbers Overview
Chambers Elite Climbers provides select WVU Football student-athletes a more enhanced opportunity for development within the 5th Quarter Program. Our goal is to operate the premier student-athlete development program in college football. Student-athletes must apply for the opportunity and meet standards established for the program.
Â
Chambers Elite Climbers is a two-year tiered program. This approach will allow participants to develop not only their skills but expand their experiences in preparation for their final year of programming. Below is an outline of what will be covered over the two years.
Â
Year 1
During the first year, all participants will gain experience and knowledge in the following tracks:
• Technology
• Financial Education
• Communication
Â
Bridge from Year 1 to Year 2
Study Abroad
• The goal of the study abroad program is to provide an experience that will allow participants to use the skills that they developed during year one while expanding their world view in preparation for year two programming.
Â
Year 2
The focus of year two is on:
• Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• Community Service
• Career Preparation
The cohort will determine the service learning project they would like to pursue throughout the year. Participants that complete the entire program will receive confirmation of completion of the program that they will be able to include on their resume, LinkedIn and other credentials.
