Digital Media Internship
General Information
- Positions are available for social media, web design and videography
- Positions are unpaid; opportunities for internship credits are available with faculty approval and proper documentation
- Average time per week is between 8-20 hours; time will be split between office hours and events
- Flexible office hours around class schedule; must be available to work some evenings and weekends
- Must be a current WVU student

- Assist with the implementation of social media strategies including gaining followers and engagement
- Assist with in-game social media duties, including creating content for Snapchat and Instagram
- Using social media analytics reporting to evaluate the performance of each platform and effectiveness so social strategies
- Create content (graphics, GIFS, tweets, posts) for multiple athletic programs and platforms
- Knowledge and experience working with social platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other outlets
- Knowledge of the WVU Athletic Department and athletic teams
- Assist with updating WVUsports.com
- Strong web-design skills
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Knowledge of WVU Athletic Department and athletic teams
- Must submit work samples from previous projects
- Focus on video content for WVUSports.com and social media platforms
- Create various video projects including features, hype videos, highlight packages, press conferences, promotions and other projects
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of WVU Athletic Department and athletic teams
- Must submit work samples from previous projects
- Hands-on experience with a Division I athletic department

- Resume builder with a strong portfolio of work at the end of the internship
