Student Ticketing Update for 2026-27 WVU Olympic Sports Events
August 12, 2026 12:00 PM | General
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Starting with the 2026-27 season, the Mountaineer Ticket Office will now offer WVU Olympic sports student tickets online, in advance of home events.
The WVU football and men's basketball student ticketing process will remain the same with no changes for students. For more information on the football and men's basketball student ticketing process, CLICK HERE.
New for the 2026-27 season, all student tickets for WVU's Olympic sports will transition to mobile delivery. Students will now be required to log in to their WVUGAME.com account to reserve a student ticket for each home athletics event. For Olympic sports, there is no request process. Students will simply log in to their account using the single sign-on functionality, which is the same as all access points across the University systems, navigate to the sport of the event they would like to attend and reserve a ticket.
Once reserved, students will automatically receive a ticket directly to their WVUGAME account and will be notified via email that their ticket reservation has been processed. Students are encouraged to reserve and download their tickets directly to their digital wallet prior to arriving at the event.
Unlike football and men's basketball, there will be no request schedule for student tickets. Olympic sports student tickets will be available approximately one month prior to the scheduled date of the event. Students are encouraged to only reserve a ticket for an event they plan to attend.
Students looking to attend Olympic sporting events can reserve a ticket at any time, once available, leading up to or throughout the duration of the contest. For student ticket support or troubleshooting on game day, students are encouraged to visit the Mountaineer Ticket Office location at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium, Hope Coliseum or Kendrick Family Ballpark. Students can show their valid student ID and be given a ticket to scan for entry into the event.
ALL students, regardless of student activities fee-paying programs, are eligible to attend WVU Olympic sporting events at no charge.
For football and men's basketball student tickets, a student must be student activities fee-paying to be eligible.
The easiest way for students to manage their tickets to all WVU Athletics events is through the WVU Sports app. To download on the App Store, CLICK HERE and to download on Google Play, CLICK HERE. The "Tickets" tab provides students with the opportunity to reserve or manage their tickets to all Mountaineer sporting events.
For any students with questions regarding mobile ticketing are encouraged to visit wvusports.com/studentticketinfo for more information.
Any students with questions regarding student ticketing are encouraged to call the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU-GAME or by email at wvugame@mail.wvu.edu.
