Eight Shooters Named CRCA Scholastic All-Americans

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Eight members of the West Virginia University rifle team were named to the 2026 Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholastic All-America team, the organization announced.
Senior Maximus Duncan, Juniors Griffin Lake and Lauri Syrja, Sophomores Camryn Camp, Jennifer Kocher and Hana Strakusek, and Freshman Oceanne Muller and Jack Ogoreuc all represented WVU on this year's Scholastic All-America team.
An honor that began in 1991, this year marks the 28th time that the Mountaineers have seen four or more shooters earn CRCA Scholastic All-America honors. It is also the ninth time the Mountaineers have seen eight or more featured on the list. In total, West Virginia has placed 185 student-athletes on the team since its inception.
This is Syrja, Duncan and Kocher's third Scholastic All-America selection, while Lake makes his second appearance.
