Wilson Named to PING All-Region Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University golfer Kaleb Wilson has been named to the Division I PING All-Midwest Region Team, announced this weekend by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Wilson's accolade marks the sixth time in school history a WVU golfer has been named to the PING All-Midwest Region Team. He becomes the first two-time winner in school history as he was named last year along with Todd Duncan. Max Green was named in 2024, Mark Goetz in 2021 and Matthew Sharpstene in 2019 earned those same honors.
Wilson was in WVU's lineup for every tournament for the second year in a row and set the school record for the lowest season average in school history at 70.42. He won the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational for the second year in a row and earned a runner-up finish at the Island Resort Collegiate. Wilson competed in an NCAA Regional his last three years as a Mountaineer, shooting 2-under-par earlier in May at the NCAA Marana Regional.
