
Day One Complete at the Schenkel Invitational

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University golf team completed play on Friday after 18 holes of golf at the Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Georgia.
In round one, Westy McCabe shot Even par to pace the Mountaineers. Kaleb Wilson and Jack Michael shot 1-over-par, while Aidan Dortch was 2-over-par. Nick Turowski was +4.
As a team, the Mountaineers are 4-over-par and tied for 12th place in the 15-team field.
Golfers will play the second round on Saturday morning, followed by the final 18 holes on Sunday.
