"I'm really proud of this group," coach
Sean Covich said. "We didn't play close to good golf today, but they battled hard in tough scoring conditions. A lot of learn from today, but I believe in this group, they fight hard for every shot and that's fun to coach. Off for a few days then start preparing for hosting the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational."
West Virginia will be back in action in three weeks, hosting the second annual Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational in Farmington, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 29-30.
