WVU Athletics Launches Mobile App Update, Providing Fans with an Efficient Ticket Management Tool

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University Athletics has released an update for the WVU Sports app through SIDEARM Sports to make it easier for fans to easily manage their tickets and stay connected with the Mountaineers all season long.
With the new update, the app is a true ticketing hub for managing tickets. Fans can log into their account via the app and stay logged in to purchase, transfer and manage tickets to all WVU athletic events.
The app also provides users the chance to follow the Mountaineers through news alerts, schedules, multimedia content, game-day information and more. Fans can choose which WVU Athletics teams they follow and customize what notifications they receive.
A user-friendly interface that is integrated with WVUsports.com provides fans with the most up-to-date content. An in-depth schedule page provides fans with all the game-day information they need to attend athletic events, while also providing information for fans who cannot attend the game.
Throughout the 2025 athletics season, fans can look forward to exclusive offers in the app and push notifications keeping you updated with the Mountaineers.
In addition to sending fans the news they want to know through push notifications, fans can now receive messages based on their ticket purchases. This will aid in communication with ticket holders for game time changes, special game day promotions, game-day timelines and more.
