
Pozos Named Student-Athlete of the Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University men's soccer player Pablo Pozos has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
In his Mountaineer debut, Pozos had a hat trick in a 5-2 victory over Manhattan. He scored all three of his goals in the first half as he led WVU to the season-opening victory.
The Madrid, Spain native now has 21 career goals after scoring 18 in his previous two seasons at Wingate. It was the first hat trick of his collegiate career.
Pozos and the Mountaineers will be back on the pitch on Monday to take on La Salle. Kickoff from Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
