
Round One Delayed by High Winds

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 17, 2025) – The West Virginia University golf team was scheduled to play 36 holes at The Johnnie-O at Sea Island in St. Simons Island, Georgia, on Monday. However, high winds delayed the first round until 4:30 p.m.
Golfers did not complete the first round due to darkness. Play will resume Tuesday morning with the completion of the first round followed by 18 holes to make the event a 36-hole tournament.
Kaleb Wilson leads WVU at -1 after 12 holes of play. Max Green and Todd Duncan are both +2, while Carson Kammann and Ryan Leach are +6. Westy McCabe is competing as in individual and is +2.
