
Play Suspended at Briar’s Creek Due to Darkness

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – After a lengthy fog delay in the morning, play was suspended in the second round due to darkness at the Battle at Briar's Creek in Johns Island, South Carolina.
Golfers will resume the second round at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, followed by the third and final round in the afternoon.
The Mountaineers sit tied for third place after one round at -7. In the first round, Pierce Grieve was -3, Max Green shot -2, Kaleb Wilson was -1, Todd Duncan shot -1 and Carson Kammann was +2.
At The Links at Stono Ferry in Hollywood, South Carolina, freshman Ryan Leach leads the field, shooting -11 after day one with rounds of -4 and -7. Fellow freshman Hugh Donegan is +8 with the final 18 holes scheduled for Tuesday. Both are competing as individuals.
