MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's tennis team lost to No. 41 TCU, 4-0, to begin Big 12 Conference play on Friday in Fort Worth, Texas.
TCU began the match by earning the doubles point. The pairing of West Virginia (6-6, 0-1 Big 12) senior

Lyla Byers lost to No. 24 Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual in the No. 1 seed match, 6-1.
In the No. 3 seed match, graduate student
Julie Bousseau and senior
Tatiana Lipatova lost, 6-2.
In singles play, the Horned Frogs kept things rolling. Redshirt sophomore
Maja Dodik lost to TCU's Isabel Pascual, 6-0, 6-1, in the No. 3 spot.
Freshmen
Laura Villanueva Morillo and
Susannah Su lost in their respective matches as TCU won, 4-0.
