MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University wrestling and gymnastics teams jointly announce the return of the Beauty and the Beast meet for the 2025-26 season.
The promotion returns for the first time since 2024 as the two teams will compete simultaneously on Saturday, Jan. 24. Both programs will face Big 12 competition as wrestling hosts Wyoming and gymnastics hosts Denver.
Tickets for the match can be purchased in advance through WVUGAME.com for $14, as one ticket will admit fans to both events. On-site, game day pricing will be $16 for adults and $12 for youth (ages 18 and under). Group tickets for parties of 10 or more will be available for $10 per person.
West Virginia wrestling begins its season at the Southeast Open in Salem, Virginia, on Nov. 2. Gymnastics begins the 2026 season against Florida, North Carolina and Temple on Jan. 9, in Gainesville, Fla.
Fans can purchase wrestling season tickets for all home matches, including Beauty and the Beast, for $40. Those looking to purchase a gymnastics season ticket can expect those to launch at a later date.
