Tipton Shoots 4-under in Second Round to Move into Top 10

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University fifth-year senior Trent Tipton shot 4-under-par in the second round to move into the Top 10 at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate in Statesboro, Georgia.
Tipton shot 75-68 on the first day and is now tied for ninth place at 1-under-par.
Senior Will Stakel shot 74-75 (+5) and freshman Harrison Thompson shot 75-74 (+5) on Saturday. Both are tied for 29th place. Junior Pierce Grieve recorded rounds of 81-74 (+11).
The final round of the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate begins Sunday at 8:15 a.m.
