MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University tennis team finished play in the 2024 Martha Thorn Invitational on Sunday at the Mountaineer Tennis Courts.
Five Mountaineers represented WVU throughout the invite as seniors

Michaela Kucharova and
Catherine Wassick, redshirt junior
Maja Dodik and freshman
Laura Villanueva Morillo each performed well.
The doubles team of Kucharova and Dodik earned three wins over the weekend. Dodik led the way in singles play, earning two wins.
The Mountaineers played three rounds of singles and three rounds of doubles during the three-day invitational.

West Virginia will return to action in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Atlantic Regional from Oct. 17-22, at the Virginia Tennis Complex at Boar's Head Sports Club in Charlottesville, Virginia.
