Against Oklahoma State, Green led from start to finish to down Gaven Lane, 2UP. Davenport tied his second match of the day against Johnnie Clark.
"I'm really proud of the guys today," coach Sean Covich said. "We battled hard against a great team this afternoon, came up just short. This morning showed what we're capable of, defeating a Top 25 team.
"Max Green had a solid day going undefeated. Kaleb and Carson really played well in the morning. Jackson was clutch earning half a point in each match. Todd was close this morning and will bounce back. We need a good session tomorrow morning and anything can happen."
WVU will face Kansas in the morning session on Tuesday with bracket play starting in the afternoon session.
