MORGANTOWN, W.Va. –
The West Virginia University tennis team (10-9, 0-7 Big 12) returns to Morgantown this weekend for its regular-season home finale, as the Mountaineers host Baylor on Friday, April 12, and Texas on Sunday, April 14, at the Summit Tennis Academy in Morgantown.
Friday's contest against the Lady Bears is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. ET. Fans can follow the action against Baylor via

Sunday's first serve against the Longhorns is set for 11 a.m. Fans can follow the action against UT via
StatBroadcast. The match against Texas is Senior Day and marks the final home match for seniors

Kirsten White. A ceremony for the trio will take place approximately five minutes prior to first serve.
"They're just as tough as anyone else in the Big 12," said coach
Miha Lisac. "Texas obviously won the Big 12 Conference last year, so we're excited to host them on Senior Day. Baylor is equally as tough, and they've been a powerhouse in the Big 12 for a long time. From that standpoint, we have our weekend cut out for us, just like any other weekend in the Big 12."
The Mountaineers are seeking their first win over Baylor on Friday evening. Last season, West Virginia fell to No. 25 Baylor, 4-0, on the road.
Baylor enters Friday's matchup with a 7-19 record and is 1-6 in conference play. The Lady Bears' lone conference win came on March 24, when they upset then-No. 36 Kansas State, 4-3. BU's roster features one ranked singles player, Livia Kraus, who checked in at No. 61 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)/Oracle rankings.
WVU also is seeking its first win over Texas. In last year's regular-season contest, the Mountaineers were defeated by the No. 5-ranked Longhorns, 4-0, on the road.
Texas enters the weekend with a 14-3 record, including a perfect 7-0 record in Big 12 play. The Longhorns are scheduled to square off against Iowa State on Thursday in Ames, Iowa. UT checked in at No. 6 in this week's ITA/Oracle team rankings. Texas' roster includes four ranked singles players, including two in the top 50 – No. 29 Bianca Turati, No. 41 Anna Turati, No. 55 Petra Granic and No. 123 Bojana Markovic. The Longhorns' roster also includes two ranked doubles pairs – No. 55 Anna Turati/Bianca Turati and No. 67 Anna Turati/Katie Poluta.

Anne-Sophie Courteau leads the team in singles wins (11) and total wins (20) ... Courteau and Rosiello are tied for the team lead with 10 doubles victories.
