MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – For the first time in 13 years, a West Virginia University gymnast has earned All-America First Team accolades, as senior Kirah Koshinski has been named to the Regular-Season All-America Vault First Team, as announced today be the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W).
A three-time second team honoree, Koshinski is the first gymnast in program history to earn at least one All-America award in each of her four seasons at WVU. She is the fourth Mountaineer gymnast to earn at least one career first-team recognition and the first since Janáe Cox earned NCAA All-America First Team Floor honors in 2007.
A native of Berwick, Pennsylvania, she lands on the first team based on her 9.925 National Qualifying Score (NQS).

All-America First Team honorees are the top-eight ranked gymnasts on an event, while those placed on the second team rank No. 9 – 16.
With four career All-America honors, Koshinski ranks No. 2 in program history. Kristin Quackenbush earned six career All-America honors from 1994-96.
